Intro.

Hello world.. or rather 'blogging world'.

I guess the first post would be best to introduce myself, so here is me in a nutshell...

I was born in '84. June to be precise. I was raised in Houston, Texas (the fourth most populous city in the nation).

Music has always been in my blood. At age 16 I picked up the acoustic guitar and from that point on I was hooked. I recently started taking voice lessons. I love music of all genres by the way, including country...

I am a veteran. Served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. I am patriotic and I am the eldest of 2 younger brothers, who are also veterans (Marine Corps).

I recently resigned from the Sheriff's Department as a Mental Health Specialist, so that I can pursue my goal of being a certified peace officer (most civilians would just say 'cop'). I plan on attending the police academy in May, so I am pretty excited about that.

My parents are Korean, so I guess this makes me Korean/American being born in Houston.

I have few, but close friends. I work out a lot and try to eat healthy. I get along with almost everyone. I am passionate about most of the things I do and say. I am very mature for my age. I also believe in God. My short term goal is to finish my communications degree in college and my long term goal is to work for the federal government one day.

I wanted to start blogging because I think it would be a great way to help me put down, into words, things that go on in my mind. Another reason is to show people what I'm going through in life. Anyone who takes the time to read my blogs, I hope to consider my friend. I hope to share ideas with people who have the same interests as me, and get answers from other like-minded people.

I'm glad to start this finally and hopefully this turns into something others enjoy as well. =)
